compatibility:

Windows Photoshop versions CS2 and above (English or German)
Macs seem to have scripting issues but let me know if it works.

this script will check a 320 1:1 or a 160 2:1 "koala" style screen in photoshop
(layered documents too) for multicolour attribute problems (no more counting colours and hoping)

the one labelled (eng) is the english version
(DE) is the one compatible with the german language PS done for Veto :)

inside your photoshop folder is a folder called presets,
inside that is one called scripts.
put it in there.

restart your PS and run it from File>script>koala checker.

BEFORE you run it make sure you have:
a: an active image to be checked in 320x200 or 160x200 (pixel aspect ratio 2:1)
b: selected your chosen Background colour as your active drawing colour
(it uses active drawing colour as your selected BG for its calculation)

run it and it will create a flattened copy of your drawing and when done will
mark any char squares with MC attribute problems in yellow/orange/red in order of severity.

it takes a few seconds to run

you can quit at any time during the process by hitting escape.
but dont click in a background windows as it sends the script loopy
because scripts have to run in a foreground window.
